HOT PEPPER

Hot Pepper (Turkish: Aci Sivri Biber) is an old Turkish heirloom variety where its' heat varies from mild to very spicy. These hot peppers are prolific producers of up to 50 cayenne shaped peppers each 15 cm long by 2 cm wide in a 90 day cycle (Capsicum annuum). These peppers are a shiny crimson when ripe. Usually, they are eaten fresh with a meal or used as dried flakes in cooking.
