Mine Kırıkkanat

Mine G. Kırıkkanat was born in Ankara. After finishing at Fevzi Atlıoğlu primary school, Notre Dame de Sion high school, she graduated from the Department of Sociology in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University. She is the first female humorist in Turkey. Kırıkkanat has worked as a reporter at Cumhuriyet newspaper in Spain, and at Milliyet newspaper in France. She has also written columns for Radikal newspaper. Kırıkkanat is one of the foreign journalists who is working for TV 5 Monde channel. She has written many novels, stories and essays. Currently, Kırıkkanat lives and works in Istanbul.
