Mustafa Aydoğan was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1964. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University in 1989. After working for Zaman newspaper for a while, he began working at the Ministry of Finance in 1990. In 1981, his first poem was published in the literary magazine “Esra Yazıları.” Since then, Aydoğan has published his poems in several literary magazines such as “Mavera”, Yedi İklim”, “Dergâh”, and “Hece.” He also wrote book reviews for Yeni Şafak newspaper, and columns for Yenisöz ve Milat newspapers. Aydoğan has prepared an annual publication of poetry for the literary magazine “Edebiyat Ortamı.” Currently, he serves as the chief editor of “Edebiyat Ortamı” in Ankara. In 2012, he received the award “Poetry Book of the Year 2012” from the Turkish Writers’ Association with his book “Bogün Konştuklarımız”.
