Erden Alkan

Erden Alkan was born in Giresun in 1941. He studied at Max Reinhardt Theatre School in Vienna after graduating from Vefa High school in Istanbul. Since 1970 Alkan has performed in numerous films and TV series such as "Battal Gazi Destani" (1971), "Lola und Billidikid" (1999), "The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner" (2008) and "Soko Leipzig" (TV Series, 2008). In 2012 he acted the role of Çandarlı Halil Pasha in the film "Fatih 1453," directed by Faruk Aksoy. Alkan currently continues his work in Köln and Istanbul.
