Ebru Uygun

Ebru Uygun was born in Istanbul in 1974. She graduated from the Department of Painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in 1994. She then went to England and studied art and design at the Kingston University between 1994 and 1995 and illustration at the Brighton University between 1995 and 1998. Uygun has had solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad, including the exhibition with Coco Kühn at the Dirimart in 2007. In 2009, her paintings were exhibited with the art works of sculptor Frenando Botero in the Marlborough Gallery in New York.
