Güçlü Öztekin was born in Eskişehir in 1978. He graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in 2003. He creates canvases with a subtle three dimensionality, using mixed media. He has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Turkey. He is a member of HA ZA VU ZU. Currently, Öztekin lives and works in Istanbul.
