İnci Furni was born in Bursa in 1976. She graduated from the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University. Her first solo exhibition “Ruh” (2007) was held within the Apartment Project. She has also participated in several group exhibitions including: “Sobe” at Bilsar (2007); “Dünyayı Yesen Doymazsın” in the context of the 10th Istanbul Biennial Special Projects (2007) and “Haksız Tahrik” (2009). Furni was one of the organizers of the exhibition “Zig-Zag” at Hafriyat Karaköy (2008) in collaboration with the Independent Drawing Gig.
