Abdülkadir Demirhindi was born in Sebinkarahisar, Giresun in 1966. He spent his childhood and youth in Sisli in lstanbul. His interest in cartoons began with “Gırgır” magazine. He started drawing caricature in Gırgır. After that, he developed himself by taking course at the Çarşaf Caricature School under the directors of Semih Balcıoğlu and Raşit Yakalı. In 1996, Demirhindi became a member of the Caricaturist Association. Demirhindi has had many solo exhibitions and participated in several group exhibitions in Turkey. His first solo caricature exhibition “Renkler ve Duyarlılıklar” was held in Istanbul, Capital shopping center in 2000. His caricatures have been exhibited in many albums and museums. He has also joined many national and international competitions and won many awards. Demirhindi is a member of Anatolian Caricature Association. Besides caricature, he has worked on cinema for a long time and continues to work as a film machine technician.
