Abdullah Akkaya

Abdullah Akkaya was born in Giresun in 1971. He finished primary and middle school in Giresun. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 1995. He specialised in ear-nose and throat in GATA Military Hospital between 1998 and 2001. During these years, Akkaya made illustrative paintings on medical science. He drew technical paintings on ear-nose and throat branch by using ink. Some of these drawings were used in various magazines and books about ear-nose and throat. Akkaya began studying oil painting with Selma Akgün in 2003. Akkaya currently continues his work in Elazığ Military Hospital as an ear-nose and throat specialist.
