Arzu Firuz

Arzu Firuz was born in Istanbul from a Turkish father and a Panamanian mother. She graduated from Paris Art and Design School Ecole Duperre in 2006. Firuz founded her design studio soon after the successful exhibition of her vinyl rug collection at the 2007 Maison & Object show in Paris. She proposed a new interpretation of oriental artifacts like carpet, combining them with modern but ordinary materials. Produced in collaboration with the associated designer Paul Huber, Firuz′s designs have a wide international distribution. Currently, she lives and works in France as a freelance designer.
