Cem Ozakman was born in Bodrum in 1972. In 1998, he graduated from the Faculty of Business Management at Manisa Celal Bayar University. He learned how to design jewelry from his master H. Haluk Anat. He continued making jewelry and received certificates for Jewelry Designer from Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum (2003) and the Province Culture and Tourism Directorate in Muğla (2004). Ozakman has been inspired by different cultures from East and West. He uses those inspirations in his designs in combination with ethnic motives and modern lines. He has had several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. He was awarded “Work of Art Quality” by Izmir Province Culture and Tourism Directorate and by Izmir Art and Statue Museum, Work of Art Designation Commission. In 2008, Ozakman received a certificate of mastery from Bodrum Tradesman and Craftsman Association. Currently, he lives and works in Bodrum.
