Füsun Çövenoğlu was born in Izmir in 1966. She finished middle and high school at the Karşıyaka High School. She graduated from the Ceramic and Glass Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylül University in 1991. She continued her master’s degree and completed it at the Ceramic and Glass Department in the Social Science Institution of Dokuz Eylül University. Since 1992, she has worked as a tutor at her alma mater. She has also made her art works at the private workshop since 2004.
