İbrahim Çukur was born in 1940 in the district of Börekçiler in Kütahya. After finishing primary school in 1953, he started learning the craft of silver and gold jewelry beside the famous master craftsman, Mehmet Aslan. After eight years, Çukur founded his workshop and developed his skill. Since 1963, he has made silver and gold rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces at his workshop. Çukur established the Kütahya Jewelry shop and Sarraflar Association with his friends in 1979.
