Büşra Velioğlu

Büşra Velioğlu was born in Istanbul in 1965. She studied the art of illumination and ceramic within the Vakıflar (foundations) for 2 years. She worked at batik and ceramic workshops. She also learned wax model technique from Gündem İlkorur. In addition, Velioğlu has been making silver jewelry for 22 years. In 2002, she received a Signal award in the Branch of Jewelry in the DÖSİM Giftware Design Competition. Until 2007, she worked under the name of “Pozitif Atölye”. Currently, she continues to work at home.
