Mehmet Kabaş

Mehmet Kabaş was born in Mersin. After he graduated from the faculty of business administration in Istanbul University, he went to London to study jewelry design and production. After he returned to Istanbul, he established the Urart workshops and galleries in Ankara, Istanbul, Adana and Ceneve. He founded the Kabaş Design with Yunus Kabaş in 1995. In 1998, he established a Jewelry and Traditional Handcraft department at the Academy Istanbul.
