Merve Baalbaki

Merve Baalbaki was born in Istanbul in 1983. After graduating from the Department of International Relations at Bilgi University, she went to Cairo and stayed for 1.5 years. After returning to Istanbul, she completed her Master’s degree in the Middle East Researches.

Since her childhood, Baalbaki has had an interest in precious stones and accessories. She began to learn how to make jewelry at a workshop in the Grand Bazaar. Currently Baalbaki continues her study on gemology at the Gemological Institute of America and creates her own collection with precious stones.
