Necdet Gür was born in the Güllüce village in the district of Oltu, Erzurum in 1967. He finished primary and middle school in Oltu. Since 1987, he has learned how to make silver works from many craftsmen. Gür has participated in many exhibitions and fairs in Turkey and abroad. He has a certificate of identity as an artist, which was issued by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. As of today, Gür continues to work at his workshop in Oltu. |
