R. Ayla Uslu

Ayla Uslu was born in Byekoz, Anadolu Kavağı in 1946. She finished Ankara Maltepe Art School for Girls. After her retirement from work, she started designing and making accessories. Uslu makes accessories with different materials such as silver, semi precious stones, textiles, wool, ribbon, ceramic and crystal at the workshop “Nakş”. She exhibited her accessories at the exhibition entitled “içimden geldiği gibi...” (Impulsive Nature) at the Ankara Rahmi Koç Museum in 2006. She has also prepared accessories with pearls and gilded threads and had her second exhibition at the exhibition hall of the Ankara Turkish American Association.
