Mustafa Sabri Gözükan

Mustafa Sabri Gözükan was born in Ordu in 1922. He finished primary and middle school. He retired from public employment. He has had an interest in handicrafts and researched about local baskets. He developed his skill to carve wood and stone, and became a master craftsman. Gözükan remodeled traditional Ordu baskets, which were made of hazel bars. Among his carving works, there are famous chain works, which are made of stone and wood.
