Onur Öztürk

Onur Öztürk was born in Çanakkale in 1965. He graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Hacettepe University in 1988. In the same year, he began working at the Çanakkale Ceramic Factory. He has participated in many group exhibitions and competitions, and received numerous awards. His works can be seen in several private collections and museums such as the Dr. İbrahim Bodur Museum (1998) and the Sate Fine Arts Museum in Egypt (2002). His reproduction works, whose themes are always in Anatolian Civilization, have been introduced in many exhibitions and activities in Turkey and abroad, which were organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Öztürk founded his own ceramic studio “Atölye İdil” in 2003, and has continued his works with artist friends.
