Özlem Tuna

Özlem Tuna graduated from the Ceramic Department in the Faculty of Fine Art of Marmara University in 1993. She continued her art studies at the same university and received her Masters’ degree in the Department of Graphic Design, Authentic Printing Workshop. In 1996 she focused on designing and making jewelry, and started working at Urart Company. Tuna then established Özlem Tuna Design Studio and Workshop in April, 2003. Under the same brand name, she has designed and made jewelry and home accessories. She currently provides consultancy services in modeling and design for several companies in jewelry sector on the basis of some projects. In May 2007, Tuna opened a jewelry and objects gallery called “Design Zone” near Grand bazaar. In addition to Özlem Tuna′s jewelries and home accessories, the art works of other Turkish designers are also exhibited at the gallery. In 2010, Tuna participated in the Index Interior Design Show 2010 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
