Tamer Hazer

Tamer Hazer was born in Yalova in 1946. He finished air force school in 1968 and worked as an educational officer for 3 years. After working in the Turkish Armed Forces, he worked in union business, sales of gifts, furniture and decorative arts. After 1993, he began making silver and horn accessories. Today he continues to produce silver and horn accessories at his own workshop in Güneyköy in Yalova. He is also one of the craftsmen who were recognized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture. He won the Tur-Art special prize in 1997, DÖSİM special prize in 2001 and DÖSİM big prize in 2002.
