Esra Gökçen

Esra Gökçen originally studied painting but also developed an interest in textile weaving, in which she felt an interest 16 years ago. She learned how to weave textiles at the weaving class in the Muğla Special Provincial Administration. She weaves clothing accessories, bags, shawls, ponchos, stoles, home accessories, table clothes, bedclothes, cushions with mohair, wool, silk and cotton by her own design. She uses shuttle handloom, so that the width of her products are maxim 80 cm. In addition, Gökçen paints, works at computer graphics and takes nature photographs professionally.
