Kamer Uçman

Kamer Uçman was born in Rize in 1959. She finished Department of Handicrafts and Mode Flowers at the Atatürk High school for Girls. After retiring from the Turkish Ministry of Finance, she started making handicrafts professionally. She has made accessories with hocked needle works (tığ oya) in the past two years. As of today, Uçman continues to make and sell her accessories at a shop in the historical Ankara Castle.
