Esra Kavcı Özdemir

Esra Kavcı Özdemir graduated from the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts, Carpet-Rug-Fabric Design Branch in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University in 1997. In 1998, she started working as a research assistant at her alma mater. She completed her master’s degree in 2001 and doctoral degree, proficiency in arts in 2010 at the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts in the Institute of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylül University. She has attended national and international academic symposiums. Besides her academic career, Özdemir creates woven textiles. She has had several solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions. Currently, she continues to work as a research assistant at Dokuz Eylül University.
