Kadriye Tunç

In Izmir, 1966, Kadriye Tunç embroidered Anatolian Selcuk and Ottoman motifs on kaftans, dresses, boleros, blouses, belts, with stylizing the motifs according to modern tastes. She also participated in many fairs, mode weeks, exhibitions and fashion shows in that period. In addition to it, Tunç exported her works to the US, Belgium, Libya and Israel until 1999. She donated her private collection to the DÖSİM, which belongs to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
