Armağan Davran

Göksel Armağan Davran graduated from the Ballet Department of Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 1988. He then performed as principal dancer in many European cities. Davran joined the State Opera and Ballet General Directorate in the season of 1989-1990 and performed as principal dancer in many ballet works. He also represented Turkey in many ballet competitions abroad. In 2001, Davran completed his Master’s degree at the Ballet Department of Hacettepe University State Conservatory. In 2007 he started teaching ballet at the State Opera and Ballet General Directorate. In the 2008-2009 Season, Davran was appointed to the position of choreographer in the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. In 2010 he choreographed and staged a work "The Three Musketeers" with Volkan Ersoy. Davran currently continues his work in the Ankara State Opera and Ballet.
