Önder Çevik

Önder Çevik was born in Istanbul in 1981. He graduated from the Department of Modern Dance at Yıldız Technical University. He studied dance at the New York Martha Graham School in 2007. He pursued dance performance at many schools and institutions such as Impulse Tanz in Vienna, Alvin Ailey Contemporary Dance School in New York, Merce Counningham Contemporary Dance School in New York, Nederlands Dans Theater and Den haag Dance Festival in Holland. With various fellowships and grants, Çevik has also attended many workshops of modern dance and classic ballet in Europe and the US. Since 2006, he has been teaching dance and choreographing dance works in Istanbul. Çevik currently live and works in Istanbul.
