Hilal Sibel Pekel

Hilal Sibel Pekel was born in Istanbul in 1987. In 2008 she started taking her modern and contemporary dance education at the Dans Buluşma. She continued her training at the Department of Modern Dance in the Faculty of Art and Design at Yıldız Technical University. Pekel worked as a co-founder for the Young Choreographers Event. She has participated as a dancer in many festivals and events such as iDANS, Sello Pesa & Vaugn Sadie’s work "Inhabitant," and Grupo Oito – Dance for Sale. In 2012 Pekel performed in the project, "Deconstructing Frida," choreographed by Ufuk Şenel. Pekel currently continues her education and works in Istanbul.
