Alex Akimoğlu

Alex Akimoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1957. After finishing at Moran College, he moved to Paris and graduated from Joffrin-Byrs Fashion Design Academy. Akimoğlu designed many haute-couture and pret-a-porter collections at several fashion houses such as Pierre Cardin, Jean-Louise Scherrer, and Hanae Mori. Since 1997, Akimoğlu has written fashion articles for the column of Radikal newspaper. In 2005, he returned back to Istanbul and founded his design company. Currently, he continues to work in Istanbul.
