Deniz Kaprol

Deniz Kaprol studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology New York focusing on women’s wear, after graduating from Istanbul Kültür Collage and Ankara Bilkent University. She took courses on jewelry design while studying in New York, and started her career in fashion by working for leading designers in America. After returning to Turkey, she worked as a designer and brand manager for important textile and ready-to-wear companies. She participated in many fashion seminars and training programs nationally and internationally as a lecturer or instructor.

Kaprol has been providing consultancy services as a trend analyst and designer for national and international companies. She has served as a board member in the Fashion Designers Association since its establishment, and a vice-chairman in the Board of Turkey Fashion and Ready-to-Wear Federation. In 2004, Kaprol founded her own label, “dkaprol”. Her collections have been launched in many locations in Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. In 2011, she received the “Best Accessory Designer” award. She also works as an instructor in the Faculty of Fashion Design at the Istanbul Technical University, Fashion Institute of Technology.
