Ece Gözen

Ece Gözen was born in 1989. She graduated from the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Since 2009 she has worked with well known designers such as Ezra and Tuba Çetin and Hakaan Yıldırım. Since 2009 Gözen has developed her professional career by working for brand Hakaan Yıldırım as a senior designer, and has actively participated in many collections created for Istanbul, London, and Paris Fashion Weeks. In 2012 Gözen received third place with her collection "Reflection" in the 20th IHKIB Young Fashion Designers Competition. The same year she was invited by MUUSE to participate in MUUSE x VOGUE Talents Young Vision Award 2012 with her graduation project "Illusional Harmony." She was selected among 300 designers from all over the world and received "The Most Visionary Designer" award from the senior fashion editor of Vogue Italia Sara Maino. Gözen designed capsule collections to be distributed worldwide on MUUSE.com. She designs "sport-couture" for confident, mysterious women for Muuse and creates collections for some other local boutiques. Gözen attended the 2013 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Istanbul with her first studio presentation showcasing "Harmony" collection. She presented her new collection Spring Summer 14 for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Gözen currently lives and works for her own brand “Ece Gozen” in Istanbul.
