İpek Arnas

İpek Arnas was born in Istanbul in 1984. After studying economics at Kocaeli University, she decided to change her carrier to fashion design and attended the Lasalle International Academy. After graduation, Arnas started working in a textile company focusing on authentic casual wear. She also worked as a freelance designer for the unique concept boutique “Kumpanya 62”. Her interests in vintage fashion, retro music, surreal art, Japanese culture, and her love of cats paved the way for her to create a brand that is solely based on her own taste. She founded her brand "2 Ters 1 Duz," which was named after one of the mostly used knitting techniques "Knit 1 Purl 2" as in Turkish. Besides her collections for “2 Ters 1 Duz,” Arnas creates independently and prepares collections for one of the long standing and biggest yarn manufacturers and yarn brand "Nako."
