Abdülkadir Budak was born in Hafik district of Sivas in 1952. He graduated from Sincan High School. After working as a civil servant in Kayseri and Malatya for a long time, he retired in 1994 and moved to Ankara. When he lived in Kayseri, Budak published “Ozanca ve Hakimiyet Sanat” magazine with his poet friends. His first poem “Kırık Dallar” was published in “Defne” review in 1970. Budak served as a publishing director of “Şiir Odası” (2000) and “Sincan İstasyonu” (2007) magazine. His poems and reviews on poetry have been published in many literary magazines and reviews such as “Yazko Edebiyat”, “Yeni Biçem”, Adam Sanat”, “Varlık”, “Türk Dili”, “Yusufçuk” “Defter” “Yasakmeyve” and “Pencere”.
