Arif Ay

Arif Ay was born in Niğde in 1953. He finished his primary and middle school education in Ankara. After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Gazei University, he worked as several civil servants. Currently, Ay serves as a lecturer in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature in the Faculty of Science and Letters at Kırıkkale University. His poems have been published in many literary magazines. In 2011, he received a poetry award from Writers Union of Turkey.
