Derman İskender Över (Küçük İskender)

Derman İskender Över (pen name: Küçük İskender) was born in Istanbul in 1964. He studied at the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University for 5 years. He discontinued and transferred to the Sociology Department in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University. Över has published many poems, writings, a dairy, three novels, two special compilations, one investigation, and one anatomy. He has given many seminars and talks about poetry in Turkey and abroad. Besides being a poet, Över has worked as a scenarist, radio programmer, and matinee. He also acted as an actor in five films including "Ağır Roman" and "O Şimdi Asker." Currently, Över continues his work in Istanbul.
