Hamdi Koç

Hamdi Koç was born in Fatsa. He graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature in the Faculty of Letters at Istanbul University. He was selected as a "most widely read writer" with his novel "Melekler Erkek Olur" (2002). Koç is known for his novels such as "Çiçeklerin Tanrısı," "İyi Dilekler Üklesi," and "Bir Eski Kocanın Öğleden Sonrası." In 2014 he received 43rd Orhan Kemal Novel Award for his novel "Çıplak ve Yalnız."
