Işıl Kocaoğlan

Işıl Kocaoğlan was born in Istanbul in 1984. After finishing her higher education in Antalya, she returned to Istanbul in 2005 and worked as editor and text writer at several companies. Since 2012 Kocaoğlan has worked as freelance proofreader. In 2015 she published her first novel Bir Sabah Uyandığımda Yoktum (İletişim Publications, 2015). In 2016 Kocaoğlan received Attila İlhan Novel Award for her novel "Bir Sabah Uyandığımda Yoktum." She currently continues her work in Istanbul.
