Yavuz Nüfel

Yavuz Nüfel was born in Havza, Samsun in 1960. He started writing at Gırgır magazine when he was a high school student. Since then, he has written at many newspapers and magazines. Nüfel moved to Holland in 1985. Since then, he has been living and working in Holland. Between 1999 and 2000, he worked as a news head in Holland for TGRT and Turkish newspaper. In 2002-2004, he wrote columns in the weekly newspaper “Sesver”, which has been published in Europe and Turkey. Nüfel published the poem books “Yatsıda Sönmeyen Mum Işığında” and “Şiirmatik” in Holland. In 2005, he recorded “40 years of adventures of Turkish people who have lived in Europe” in 13 volumes for the Channel Europe.  Since 2000, Nüfel has prepared and presented the “Yavuz Nüfel ile Şiirmatik” program on Radio Deniz. He has also prepared and presented the TV program “Haftanın Yorumu” on Demet TV since 2001. In 2007, Nüfel published the poem album “Hiç”. Currently, he continues to write poems in Holland.
