Zafer Yalçınğınar was born in Istanbul in 1979. In 1997, he finished at İstek Foundation Belde College. In 2002, he graduated from the Econometrics Department at Marmara University. He continued his master’s degree and completed at the Institute of Banking and Underwriting Business at Marmara University in 2004. Since 2004, he has worked as a special researcher at Tübitak-Gebze Campus.
Besides his profession, Yalçınpınar published Kuzey Yıldızı Literature Magazine with Vedat Kamer between 2002 and 2006. He has also published Sonrasızlık work since 2003. This Sonrasıklık was transferred into internet and changed the name to the Evvel in 2009. In 2007, Yalçınpınar founded e-mail group “Puşt Ahali Edebiyat Platformu” and published e-magazine P.A.T! (vol.1-vol.19). In 2008, he participated in the group exhibition “Kargaşa-8” with his typographic work at the Kargart. In 2009, Yalçınpınar had poem exhibition “Taş Uçak” in the Odakule Art Gallery. In the same year, he participated in the photograph competition “Dizelerden Objektife”, which was organized by Gümüşlük Academy, within the First İlhan Berk Meeting; and he received third prize with his photograph “Kendini Anlatan”. He also published poetic paper “Denizaltı Edebiyatı”. In 2010, Yalçınpınar participated in a group exhibition with his photograph work “Kendini Anlatan” in the Naval Museum, which was organized by Çekirdek Art Workshop. He also joined the organization of Blind Cat Black Show in Turkey. Since 2010, Yalçınpınar has published “491”.
