Mustafa Uğurlu was born in Karaman in 1955. He started acting in the 1980s and performed in many plays in the Istanbul and Ankara State Theatres. He also directed plays such as "Nikah Kağıdı" (Ankara State Theatre, 1996), "Tılsım" (Adana State Theatre, 1987) and Mustafa (Adana State Theatre, 1985). Besides plays, Uğurlu has acted in various TV series and films such as "Ağır Roman" (1997), "Asansör" (1999) and "Kolay para" (2002). He has received several awards including the "Best Supporting Actor" in the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival (1998).
