Sevket Çoruh was born in Istanbul in 1973. He graduated from the Müjdat Gezen School of Fine Arts. He began performing in many plays in 1988. Since 1995, Çoruh has acted in numerous TV series including "Arka Sokaklar" (2006-2016), "İşler Güçler" (2012), "Gönül" (2006), "Savcının Karısı" (2005), "Yılan Hikayesi" (1999), and "Çiçek Taksi" (1995). In 2003, Çoruh debuted in cinema "İnşaat" with his role "Sudi, for which he received several awards including the “Best Actor Award” in the 23rd Istanbul Film Festival (2004), the “Best Actor Award” in the 11th ÇASOD the Best Actor Awards (2004), and the “Best Actor Award” in the 25th SIYAD Turkish Cinema Awards (2003). He has acted in many films such as "Çakallarla Dans 3" (2014), "İnşaat 2" (2014), "Hayat Sana Güzel" (2013), "Çanakkale 1915" (2012), "Anadolu Kartalları" (2011), "Çakallarla Dans" (2010), "Anı Yaşamak" (2010), "Sonsuz" (2009), "Usta" (2008), and "Anlat İstanbul" (2004). Çoruh currently continues his work in Istanbul.
