Çiğdem Sezgin

Çiğdem Sezgin was born in Istanbul in 1972. After studying at the School of Economics of Istanbul University for two years, she continued her study in Cinema at the Cinema-TV Department of Marmara University. Since 1995 Sezgin has shot films and TV series as a director. She has received several awards including "The Best Director" for the film “Kasap Havası” in the International Antakya Golden Daphne Film Festival (2015).
