Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan

Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan was born in Ankara in 1965. He graduated from the Theatre Department at Hacettepe University State Conservatory. In 1989-1993 he worked as an actor at the Diyarbakır State Theatre. In 1993-1994 he performed with Roberto Ciulli at the Theatre an Der Ruhr in Germany. Taylan served as General Secretary in the State Theatre Artists Association until 2006. In 2002 he received the Best Director Award for the play "Misafir Sahneleyişi" in the Ismet Küntay Awards. He has also acted in many films and TV series. He won the Best Actor Award for his role in the film "Made in Europe" in the 15th International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival in 2008.
