Dilek Gökçin

Dilek Gökçin graduated from the Department of Cinema and Television at Mimar Sinan University. In 1980 she started working as an assistant director of famous directors such as Metin Erksan, Ömer Kütfi Akad, and Okan Uysaller. Gökçin won the Jury’s first Prize with her short film "Yokuş" (1986) in the 32th Oberhausen Short Film Festival. She taught scenario techniques in the Department of Cinema and Television at Marmara University in 1988-1990. She has written film scenarios and directed various documentary films, advertising films, and TV series.
