Hale Soygazi was born in Istanbul in 1950. She studied at Saint Benoit French High School. In 1973 she was chosen as Miss Turkey and started working as a model for magazines. In 1972 Soygazi made her film debut in a leading role in "Kara Murat" with famous actor Cüneyt Arkın. Since then she has acted in over 50 films and TV series. In 1978, Soygazi won the Best Actress Award in the 15th Golden Orange Antalya Film Festival for her leading role in the film "Maden." In 1984 she received the Best Actress Award in the 21st Antalya Film Festival for her role in the film "Bir Yudum Sevgi." In 2012 Soygazi received the Flying Broom Honorary Award. She currently lives and works in Istanbul.
