Özgür Ozan was born in Bolu in 1966. After graduating from Ankara Cumhuriyet High School, he started performing as an actor at several amateur theatres. He performed in many plays at the Izmir State Theatre, Izmir Children’s Theatre, and International Theatre Company. Ozan also played basketball as a professional player. He graduated from the Theatre Department at Dokuz Eylül University. Ozan then performed in the Bursa State Theatre. He also performed at the Istanbul Pınar Children’s Theatre. Ozan became famous for his role "Selami" in the TV series "Çocuklar Duymasın." He has acted in many TV series and films including "Git Başımdan" (film, 2015), "İşler Güçler" (TV series, 2012), "Umut Yolcuları" (TV series, 2010), "Sonsuz" (film, 2009), "Kavak Yelleri" (TV series, 2008-2009), "Arka Sokaklar" (2006-2016), "Deli Duran" (TV series, 2005), "Çocuklar Duymasın" (2002-2005), "Kadın Terzisi" (film, 2004), "En Son Babalar Duyar" (TV series, 2002),and "Kaç Para Kaç" (film, 1998). Ozan currently continues his work in Istanbul.
