Tülin Erarslan was born in 1948. She graduated from Ankara Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. In 1968-1999 she worked as producer and director in the Directorate of Documentary Programs at TRT Ankara. In 2001 and 2002 Erarslan worked as a coordinator for Ankara International Film Festival, Documentary Section.
Erarslan has attended many national and international film festivals and received many awards, including "Cinema Successful Award" by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism for "Çömlekten Porselene" (1994), "Cinema Successful Award" by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism for "Kariye" (1995), and "TV program Award" by the Progressive Journalists Association (PJA) (1998). Erarslan currently works as a freelance producer.
