Sıla (Sıla Gençoğlu)

Sıla Gençoğlu was born in Denizli in 1980. After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University, she worked as a producer, lyricist and background singer for many Turkish artists, such as Kenan Doğulu and Emel Müftüoğlu. In 2007, Sıla released her debut album "Sıla." Since then she has released seven albums. She has received many awards including "Best New Artist" in the Golden Butterfly Awards (2008), Powerturk Music Awards (2008), Kral TV Video Music Awards (2008) and Radio Boğaziçi Music Awards (2008).
