Arzu Kırtıl

Arzu Kırtıl was born in Istanbul. Arzu and her twin sister Gamze Kırtıl commenced their music studies at the Ankara State Conservatory. After receiving their master′s degrees, they won a scholarship to study in Perpignan, France from which they progressed to the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris/Alfred Cortot to study piano under Germaine Mounier.

Since 1990, Arzu has performed with Gamze Kırtıl as duo pianist and collaborated with renowned Turkish and foreign musicians and orchestras in Turkey and Europe. Arzu Kırtıl is currently living and working in Luxembourg.
